Porcelain Veneers Can

Dramatically Enhance Your Smile

Advanced Materials

At our Tampa, FL , practice we use premium porcelain to craft veneers that mimic the qualities of tooth enamel . In addition, we precisely color-match each veneer to blend with your surrounding teeth for stunning results.

A Versatile Solution

Using veneers, Dr. Creech-Gionis and her associates can address a wide variety of cosmetic imperfections , including chips, cracks, and gaps. Dental veneers can also conceal discolored teeth that resist the effects of whitening products .

Lasting Results

Veneers are strong and natural-looking, reflecting light like enamel on a tooth. These thin layers of highly durable porcelain are crafted in a laboratory to fit your smile precisely and last for 10 years or more.

Start Your Journey to a Straighter Smile

Porcelain veneers are thin ceramic shells that are attached to the front surfaces of the teeth. Porcelain veneers are an excellent option if you have issues with the color, texture, size, or shape of your teeth because these restorations provide a completely new surface for each tooth.

You may choose to have veneers placed on a single damaged tooth, a few teeth, or all the teeth that show when you speak and smile. At Tampa Dental Wellness , we help our patients in Westchase and Carrollwood design and achieve the smiles they have always wanted through personalized treatment.

Concerned about Costs? /

Dental insurance typically doesn’t cover cosmetic dentistry procedures, so we make veneers more affordable by offering cash discounts and CareCredit® financing , which lets you split payments up into budget-friendly amounts.

What Sets Us Apart

Experience

With more than 25 years of experience in dentistry, our practice has the hands-on skills to design veneers that elevate your smile. Our dentists , who’ve won honors in aesthetic dentistry, can use veneers to enhance the position of your lips as well as your facial profile.

Advanced Technology

We use advanced tools that make treatment more comfortable than ever. Instead of using goopy dental material to create an impression of your smile, our practice uses an advanced intraoral scanner to precisely capture an image of each tooth, the basis of each veneer.

GLO Teeth Whitening

We carefully match veneers to your teeth color, but if you’re looking for a brighter smile to go with new veneers, we offer advanced GLO teeth whitening so that you can pick a shade you’ll love. And to help maintain your smile, ask about our free Whitening for Life program.

Sedation

Has anxiety or physical discomfort kept you from getting the smile you’ve been longing for? Tampa Dental Wellness offers three types of sedation so you can select the right level of comfort. Dr. Creech-Gionis is one of the few dentists in the area certified in IV sedation.

What to Expect Veneers Treatment Timeline

At your consultation, your dentist will go over any concerns and explain how our custom veneers can not only camouflage imperfect teeth but also enhance your facial profile. Whether you need a single veneer or full mouth veneers, we will customize your treatment to achieve the best results.

If you have any untreated issues, such as dental cavities, we will need to schedule restorative treatments before starting the cosmetic treatment process . Patients with gingivitis or gum disease will need to be assessed individually and may need to have a series of periodontal treatments before veneers can be considered.

To further enhance your smile, we offer BOTOX® Cosmetic and filler procedures, which can be used to improve a gummy smile without painful gum grafting.

Mock-Ups

Our dentists will create a mock-up of your projected outcome. This step is extremely important because it gives you the opportunity to make sure your new smile achieves your goals.

Tooth Preparation

Once you approve the designs for your veneers, we will prepare the teeth by gently removing a layer of enamel. This process ensures the final veneers will lay flat next to your other teeth. Since a thin layer of enamel is removed, this procedure is not reversible. The treated teeth will always need some sort of restoration.

Impressions

Once each tooth has been prepared, we'll take an impression using our intraoral camera. This advanced method does away with the goopy impression material that makes many patients gag. Our 3D digital scans will be used by our dental laboratory artist to fabricate a unique porcelain veneer for each tooth.

Temporary Veneers

You will receive a set of temporary veneers to wear during the interim period while the final veneers are being designed.

Final Veneers

In about two weeks, you'll return so we can examine your restorations before we place them. We want all our patients to be pleased with their cosmetic outcomes, so you will always have the final word in approving your veneers. If you are unhappy with the way any of your veneers look, we can always have a new one created to correct the issue.

Placing Your Veneers

If you are pleased with the final veneers, we will then affix them to each tooth and your new smile will be ready to share.

Caring for Your Veneers

One of the best aspects of veneers is that they require no special maintenance. Brush your teeth twice a day, floss at least once daily, and maintain your routine preventative dental care. Take care to use non-abrasive toothpastes, as abrasive materials can damage the porcelain.

Porcelain is not as porous as the enamel on a tooth, so your veneers will not stain as easily as your natural teeth. However, after prolonged exposure to highly pigmented drinks such as coffee or red wine, veneers can develop surface stains. With proper care and regular visits to the dentist, your veneers can last up to 10 years or more.
