At Tampa Dental Wellness, we want to help patients with dental anxiety overcome their fears and get the care they need. Dr. Amy Creech-Gionis is one of the only dentists in the area that has intravenous (IV) sedation training and certification. This allows her to administer powerful sedation dentistry
and perform treatments for anxious patients.

One of the things I feel like we're very strong at, at this practice, is the way that we address people who are fearful. I am one of the few dentists in the area that are general dentists that also have IV sedation permits, and the reason I got that extra training was so that we could address the needs of patients who are truly fearful. Nobody really likes going to the dentist very much, and that's okay. It is a very personal experience. But we absolutely want to care for the patients who have true, true fears. So I think that that's something that we do very very well. Our team is very highly trained at that, and we have a lot of different options for sedation. So I feel like we care for those types of patients very well.
